Frank Randell
Merchant and Proprietor

Frank Randell was born in Llanelly and educated at the Heol Fawr and Private Grammar School and at Rouen in France.
His brother David Randell was the Member of Parliament for the Gower Division of Glamorgan.
He took over as merchant and proprietor of the Western Counties Co-operative Supply Store in Vaughan Street, Llanelly which operated with the same principles of the Army and Navy and Civil Service Stores in London. The business had been established by his father, and whilst under Frank's proprietorship the company celebrated over 50 years of trading.
He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce Council, Llanelly; a promoter of the Welsh Tinplate & Metal Stamping Co. Ltd., and an Honorary Member of the National Eisteddfod Committee of 1895.
