According to Chalinder's Trade Directory of 1872, Joshua Price was the innkeeper and the Beaufort Arms was located at 90 Wern Road. Sometime before the Trade Directory for 1897 was published the street name had changed to Anne Street.
Chalinder's Trade Directory of 1897 shows that Joshua Price was still the innkeeper, but the pub is listed as being in Lower Anne Street.
