The Double Dragon (previously known as the Raven Inn and pictured here in 1991) along with The Bres Arms and Clarence Inn was one of three public houses that survived the town centre ‘improvements’ in Murray Street. The Cricketers Arms, Queen Victoria Inn, Albion and Malabar did not survive. The Dragon Inn is next door to the Clarence Inn
