Waterloo Inn, Station Raod

Waterloo Inn, Station Road (previously called Salamanca Road)

Many Inns were named after great military and naval victories and all over Britain following the Napoleonic Wars taverns, inns and public houses were named after battles and their leaders.

Llanelli had its fair share commemorating the exploits of the Generals including the Waterloo Inn (Station Road); Duke of Wellington (Dillwyn Street); Lord Nelson Inn (Bryn Road) and Trafalgar Inn (Marine Street). The Lord Nelson and Trafalgar have long since disappeared.
